Inclusion– diversity –identity
Nordkapp, the northernmost municipality in Norway, has always been a multicultural meeting point, first and foremost because of the main industries tourism and fishery and through the years the Sami culture has had an influence on the society. A more open Europe has resulted in increased labor immigration, and from the year 2000 the municipality has received refugees. Today there are people from more than 30 nations living in Nordkapp. With these 6 short films we will show some of the diversity in the municipality and the value of being part of a multicultural society. This 6 short films are a result of a Comenius Project, and made by pupils at the Nordkapp maritime fagskole og videregående skole in Honningsvåg.
